Program Description
Industry expert Jack D'Ambosia will provide us with a broad view of the current state of the commercial real estate asset class, particularly within New England & the greater Boston area. He'll share his experience working within community-based institutions lending into this industry sector – a sector which often accounts for the largest share of commercial loan portfolios. We'll discuss where risk may be lurking for active lenders and investors in the category, and how we may measure, manage & mitigate the corresponding credit risk exposure.

management, he spent the next three decades with a prominent loan review firm in the Boston area. Jack’s experience has encompassed all facets of commercial loan review, due diligence analysis and credit risk management practices across diverse asset pools at banks and credit unions. The range of clients has been broad, from newly chartered banks to regional institutions exceeding $25 billion in assets. Exposure to commercial real estate has been a constant over Jack’s career, particularly from the perspective of community-based lenders.
Before joining Forvis Mazar’s consulting practice in early 2024, his responsibilities in a leadership role at his prior firm included: building the team, expanding the firm’s reach, and contributing to the day-to-day management of a well-established practice. Throughout his professional tenure, Jack has sought to deliver value to clients, sharing practical guidance and serving as a reliable, available resource.
